HONOURTEK was founded in 2015 by Dr. Luke Ma, a specialist in Silicon Valley electronic device packaging. He has worked for Cisco Semiconductor, Bridgelux and Luminus Devices as Director of R&D department. The company has established R&D and production bases in the United States, Guangdong (China), and Taiwan (China), along with a global sales network. With production facilities in Hsinchu, Taiwan and mainland China, HONOURTEK maintains strict quality control by employing internationally leading raw materials and production processes. It has formed important partnerships with renowned global suppliers including Epistar (Taiwan), Mitsubishi (Japan), and Alanod Aluminum (Germany). Through its innovative Thermal Balance Management Technology (TBMT) and VisualBin Color Control Technology, HONOURTEK provides high-end personalized customization services to global clients. Its production lines feature ultra-clean dust-free workshops and high-precision automated equipment, supported by advanced production management systems. Collaborating with the Light and Color Research Institute and other leading global laboratories, the company has developed proprietary light and color control software and production testing equipment. This enables precision control of chromatic performance, delivering industry-leading consistency and reliability in light and color output.

Declarations of Conformity are available stating that Honourtek COB have been tested to and comply with the relevant international standards for the manufacture and testing of COB products. The standards used are:

  • LM-80: Led light source lumen maintenance test
  • IEC 62471: Assess the hazards of light radiation associated with different lamp and lamp systems
  • REACH: REGULATION concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals
  • ROHS: Restriction of Hazardous Substances

Honourtek laboratories are also accredited by CNAS and NAVAP, with independent testing capabilities, to provide customers with better technical services.

The certifications to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, coupled with the in-house testing by Honourtek engineers, are clear statements that Honourtek cares about the quality of its products and about the environment.
